WHY SHOULD YOU LOOK FORWARD TO RETIREMENT

If you are a young person, always make sure that you save towards your retirement as whether or not you believe it, it is coming. If you plan right, retirement will be a lot of fun. Just thinking about all the vacations and all the places you will get a chance to know.
1. Why Look Forward to Retirement
Now that we are close to retirement, it’s much easier to find yourselves not wanting to get up early in the mornings to go to work. You know that your uphill career is now going downhill. Quite naturally your motivation to get up and go in the mornings is no longer there. You are no longer working to try to push your career but just to pay the bills. Retirement now looks very good. The greed is gone and there is a peace with yourself.
2. There Is Less Patience with Commuters
You hate the commute. No-one loves the commute but it no longer feels like a should do but now a must do as you feel that there is no longer any gratification to be out there in the rush. It takes you longer to get to get to work. Before it would take you thirty minutes to get to work but now the commute takes fifteen minutes longer. You worry more about being late for work as you feel insecure that if you get fired no one will want to hire you at your age. You tell yourself that age is just a number but yet the age creeps up and you move much slower now.
3. Yet You Look Forward
Though small, you now look forward to all the benefits that can be derived from being retired. The discounted senior citizen rent, the reduced city taxes if you own a home. You look forward to collecting social security and health insurance benefits.
4. Countdown
The age is climbing but the countdown has started. The countdown to the day when you will no longer have to answer to anyone but yourself. No Boss. No one looking over your shoulder and telling you what to do.
4. What Next
The fixed income doesn’t sound so good but so what the heck. You are your own boss and why should you care a shit!
